Changes and Hints
Consider blending in some chopped sun-dried tomatoes or olives to the sauce for an extra burst of flavor and texture. During the last half hour of cooking, add more shredded mozzarella for a more cheesy taste. To add a little crunch, top with croutons just before serving. If you want more sumptuous mushrooms, try shiitake or porcini, but feel free to use whatever you have on hand.
